The Small Group Leader Training (SGLT) is more than teaching—it is a journey that prepares leaders to help teens grow in faith.
The training begins with Discovering TS, where leaders learn the TeenStreet vision and experience the power of small groups. In Discovering Biblical Small Groups, leaders see how Jesus led, learn the role of a Small Group Leader (SL), and do a short Bible study together. As they Discover the Responsibility of a Disciple, leaders talk about what it means to follow Jesus and how to invite others to follow Him. Then leaders will Discover Studying the Bible Together, practicing TeenStreet Bible study methods and see how the values Have Fun, Go Deep, and Be Bold make it strong and meaningful. Through Discovering Teens in a Small Group, leaders practice asking questions, listening well, and understanding the real needs of teens.
Discovering the First Steps to Begin a Small Group gives leaders simple tools to start a group and build support. Finally, Discovering Next Steps is a time to celebrate, receive encouragement, and be prayed for.
This training inspires, equips, and sends leaders to make a difference in the discipleship journey with teens!
The price for the weekend i 500 NOK and covers training, food and accomodation.
