Seminar - Security Risk Management in volatile times

ASIS Norway invites to a seminar covering various relevant topics and challenges that characterize the current risk environment. After the seminar ASIS Norway will facilitate an networking event. We will take a boat trip on the Oslo Fjord, hopefully in good Norwegian summer temperature and enjoy some drinks and food!

NORWEGIAN POLICE. KRIPOS (National criminal investigation service) – Criminals use of encrypted chat services.

Will shed light on an international effort of disrupting transnational criminal networks engaged in drug smuggling. In Operation Trojan Shield, Europol together with various nation state police intercepted criminal organisations and collected intelligence by the used of encrypted chat services.

ASIS Norway Chapter- Effective security management.

What is effective security management? This is highly subjective and security managers will have diverse views and practises. Glenn Pettersen, President Norwegian chapter will share his views and experiences on what he considers effective security risk management. He will specifically Share some insight how he approached and increasing relevant Environmental Activism risk while working in Equinor- for which he was awarded an OSPA award for outstanding security manager in 2021.

Ukraine – Geopolitical dynamic’s Accelerated

We will have several speakers that will shed a light on the Ukraine war, how this is evolving and potentially impacting Businesses. The session will force reflection on Company’s ability to navigate in an increasing unpredictable geopolitical dynamic and their resilience.

Emergency response preparedness and Critical incident management

Everbridge’s Chief Security officer will share views on EMPR challenges, best practices and importance of access to threat intelligence and crisis management tools to ensure resilience and effective response.

Tracy Reinhold

Tracy Reinhold, CSO at Everbridge is responsible for advancing Everbridge’s enterprise-level security strategy, as well as working closely with customers and partners to optimize their organizational approach to managing and responding to critical events.

Reinhold has served in executive leadership roles in security and incident management for some of the world’s largest brands. As CSO at Fannie Mae, Reinhold was responsible for designing and managing the company’s enterprise resilience strategy.

Prior to Fannie Mae, Reinhold served as VP of Global Investigations at Walmart. He created and led a team of global investigators in the United States, Asia, Africa, South America and the UK.

Prior to his commercial roles in security, Reinhold served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for twenty-two years. He was a member of the Senior Executive Service, served as Associate Executive Assistant Director for National Security, and led the FBI’s intelligence division.
